PGG Wrightson Christchurch AgriCentre
The Christchurch PGG Wrightson AgriCentre has 2500m2 of open plan space including the retail store and office space for about eighty staff.

Integration of all facilities in one large space allows maximum flexibility and synergy from co-located business divisions.

Pelorus Architecture worked with Wrightson’s Group Property Manager, Michael Murphy, Dow Corporate Real Estate’s Dean Croucher and with the local management team to  explore how a more innovative environment could be developed to meet their needs.

Their focus was on achieving an environment that was functional, affordable and created long term flexibility.

The brief was interpreted by Rod Macdiarmid and Richard Lo of Pelorus, who designed a building to be constructed by developer Calder Stewart, and the Wrightson fitout within it. The project was overseen by Wrightson Project Manager Mike Hannaway.
