Brooklyn House

This house rises five levels above the road on a steep site in Wellington, reaching a level ridge-top platform bathed in sun and enjoying splendid inner harbour views.

Island Bay House

This house, by noted Wellington architect William Gray Young, had been divided into four flats and was in a tired state when the current owners bought it. Pelorus designed the restoration into a single spacious home.

Macdiarmid/
Ravine House

After finding a site in Wellington's inner Brooklyn area with sweeping harbour views, Pelorus director Rod Macdiarmid planned a house for himself, wife Helen and family that would celebrate the dramatic location. The house is light and airy, a casual family home.

Taylor House

Pelorus director Don Taylor and his wife Sally's house is a 100 year old villa in Wellington's Highbury area. He has comprehensively renovated it, in a way that gently introduces a contemporary sensibility with a harmonious combination of original and modern details.
